| The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), established in 1960, is a state owned enterprise under the Ministry of Interior to distribute electricity to people outside metropolitan area covering all provinces excluding Bangkok, Samutprakarn and Nontaburi. Its product, the electricity, is bought from the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT); however, distribution networks and services as well as maintenance are under the PEA works. |
